Careers
Flying as a career is an extremely rewarding experience. Flying across the world at the controls of sophisticated aircraft, ferrying corporate executives across the country for meetings or cruising low over the tundra delivering groceries to remote areas – anything is possible with a Commercial Pilot Licence.
You are now asking the question: How do I become a commercial pilot? Unfortunately, there’s no straightforward answer. On the road to a career as a commercial pilot, you’re going to have to make many decisions – there’s no ‘normal’ route to an aviation job, there are many different training routes, financing options and career paths.
What is the Process?
To begin, you will need a Private Pilot Licence (PPL.) Once this is completed, you can begin training for your Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and additional ratings (Multi Engine, IFR, Flight Instructor, Seaplane) that can add to your skill and employability. Once your CPL is completed, you will have over 200 hours of flight experience that will prepare you for your future in aviation.
